Several kits in the works

I have several kits in the works right now. Always something to work on!

I am doing a dual build of a Trumpeter 1/48 Spiteful and a Silver cloud MB.5. Since they’ll both be going to the same customer, and will have similar “what if schemes” from a Spitfire Mk. 22/24 decal set, I’m going to paint them together. The Trumpeter kit went together with no problem. The Silver Cloud kit…. it’s taking a little longer. I will win, but it’s a beast.

I’m also putting the finishing touches on a Tamiya 1/48 P-51D for another commission build. This is a “fall together kit”. The only thing difficult about it was the natural metal finish, which I have never really been able to master, and the decals. But it’s almost finished.

Finally, I’m doing a dual build of a Czech S-99 and S-199. The S-99 was basically a Bf-109G-10 built by Avia. It will be in post-war Czech markings. The S-199 was a Bf-109G-10, re-engined with a Junkers Jumo engine. It will be in Israeli markings. I hope to get these finished fairly quick and get them up on Ebay.
