Building A Gundam – Bandai’s HGUC RX-78-2, Part 7: Post-shading The Armor

This video series will cover building Bandai’s HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam kit, starting with getting the parts off the sprue, right through to the final weathering steps. Each video will focus in on specific techniques. This way you can follow along with the build through the series, or use specific episodes to focus in on particular elements that can apply to any Gunpla build. After looking at pre-shading in Part 6, this video examines the use of post-shading your Gunpla’s armor. While pre- and post-shading seek to arrive at the same end result, I have always felt post-shading is more flexible. However, the real power is when both are combined to dial in the exact result you’re looking for.
