Deimos Pattern Rhino: Painting the Interior

Published on:

Growing up, I knew that the family meal on Friday would be “leftovers”. There were six of us… mom, dad, and four kids. Although to be fair, I ate like 2 or even 3 kids. And somehow never gained a pound. My how times have changed.

Anyway, mom always cooked a LOT of food. Which meant by Friday the fridge had quite a few containers with one or two servings left of whatever we had over the previous 4 days. And to save time and take a break, she’d heat up the leftovers. Occasionally she might make some rice, or heat up some canned beans, just to make sure there was enough.

I actually liked it. I’d get a spoonful of this, a taste of that, and a dabble of the other. And if I was still hungry, I could always drop back and “punt”… making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or ham and cheese, or… 20 fish sticks. (Told you I was a big eater…)

Now, at this point, you may be asking yourself, “why is this buffoon going on about leftovers?” (Go ahead… ask yourself. I’ll wait.)

I’m glad you asked.

First, I need something to fill up some space on this blog post. Reminiscing about things past is a great way to fill up space and make things look impressive, even though they are far from it. (In some circles this is called “marketing”.)

Second, I needed to provide some context about why I’m using an old Patreon video like it’s new, even though it’s not. It’s just… old stuff. Padded on either end by some more current rambling.

So… here’s an old video, with some new bookends. Thanks for watching the first three minutes before clicking away. 🤓🤣🤣
