The Last Tuesday show is back for Episode 5. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
In this episode, I answer a few questions as always. The first is What do you do when you get stuck in a project? This is a great question, as I believe we can all relate to it. The second is What do you use to thin Tamiya paints, and what ratio do you use? In answering this, I outline several options that should fit any modeler’s needs.
For the month’s Deep Thought, I look at the process of find “the perfect product”, and how sometimes pursuit of that can often hinder us from real growth and improvement in the hobby.
My sister had sent me some old 8mm film footage that my dad had taken over a few years. I grabbed out a few of the Christmas segments that I suppose could be entitled “The Goofball of Christmas Past”. 😉
The Last Tuesday Show Interview For December
The main event of course is the monthly interview. This month I had the wonderful opportunity to talk with James Otero of Artis Opus. They are makers of high quality natural bristle brushes, and they also have a wonderful YouTube channel.
Artis Opus makes not only traditional brushes, but also produce wonderful brushes specifically for drybrushing. Through their YouTube channel, they demonstrate how they use these. It’s definitely a must see, because they elevate drybrushing to a whole new level. It’s amazing to see the power of the humble drybrush!
In the interview, James and I discussed how the company was started, what drove the development of each of their brush series, how they view customer service, and so much more.
Be sure and visit the Artis Opus site, and check out their brushes, as well as subscribing to their YouTube channel.
And as this is the last Last Tuesday Show for 2020, I’d like to thank everyone for watching and sending your encouraging comments!
