In Progress: Eduard’s 1/48 P-39L

I enjoyed the Hasegawa P-39 so much, I decided to build an Eduard P-39. Here it is with the wings on. The overall fit of the Hasegawa fuselage is better, but the wing to fuselage fit of the Eduard kit is just ever so slightly better. Basically- it’s a toss up. A little Mr. Dissolved Putty was needed to get rid of the seams on the Eduard kit’s fuselage, and a little Tamiya Basic Putty was needed to fair in the forward wing/fuselage join on the Hasegawa kit. Neither is really a big deal.

I still think the Eduard kits, as a general rule, are a better value.
