The interior is finished on Tamiya’s P-51B. I did use an Ultracast seat, as I think the look of cast resin belts is nicer than than photoetch. The cockpit is detailed enough for an open cockpit build, but not so fiddly as to slow things down. Tamiya are experts at that- the perfect balance of great detail without cluttering things up for the average builder.
Normally I don’t use the IP decals, but the instrument faces had no real cast detail to drybrush, and I didn’t feel like trying to replicate it all with paint. So the decal it is!
