Painting the Sagitaur Interior

Painting the Sagitaur interior was a lot of fun. It’s been a while since I’ve painted a cockpit. Back in my aircraft modeling days, every kit of course had a cockpit. But with the new emphasis on Games Workshop Warhammer 40K miniatures, I don’t get the chance as often. So this was a nice refresher.

Painting the Sagitaur Interior – A Kit Unto Itself

What I really enjoyed about this model is that it is essentially two kits in one. While the parts count on the cockpit is low, the detail is high. You can spend a lot of time in painting the details, working on textures and effects. And of course there is a figure in there too, a real bonus!
