Rogal Dorn Battle Tank Part 4 – Weathering The Tank

In some ways I think weathering is my favorite phase of any model. It’s not like I dislike the others, of course. But if assembly was a cheeseburger, painting would be a double cheeseburger.

Weathering? That’s a double cheeseburger with extra bacon and mayo.

Is it lunch yet?

On this Rogal Dorn, I didn’t do anything ground breaking or especially interesting. It’s just very basic acrylic weathering. In some ways it might even be considered minimalist – at least for what I normally do.

But it ended up looking like what I wanted. And that’s how you know the weathering on a model is right. Is that what you wanted to achieve? Mission accomplished. If not, do some more work, or consider it a learning experience and move on to the next one.

The socials don’t determine whether you did a good job. You do. The main thing is to have fun.

And fun I had!
