This past Saturday, September 26th, 2026, I released a public video on YouTube about chipping the Falke. This bonus video is all the boring ramble that so many YouTube watchers seem to whine and cry complain about. However, it’s also what many people who keep up with the blog have told me they miss in the shorter format videos.

So this is another example of sticking my tongue out at YouTube’s algorithm and monetization promises and using it for free video hosting to do videos however I want. Hey, look at me, I’m a rebel! 😎

Anyway, this is all theory – no actual demonstration is involved. No paints OR brushes were harmed in the making of this video. And most of this is not new to my blog or video work, as I’ve said much of this before.

However, I do find from time to time that experience has taught me new things, whether it be techniques, products, or simply simple observation. My hope is that this video will in some way contribute to your own “theory of chipping”, even if it is simply fodder for consideration to then be rejected as “sounds nice but who has time for that?”

If you can stomach hanging on through this video, and the public release of the Falke chipping video that has all the demos, well… you’ll either be equipped for chipping your models, or bored to tears. Or both.
