Bandai’s HG RTX-65 Guntank Early Type Part 1: Planning, Priming, And Painting

This video series will cover the building, painting, and weathering of the Bandai HG Guntank Early Type, part of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. First seen in Mobile Suit Gundam Origin, this unique vehicle combines the body of a giant tank with the upper body of a Gunpla – resulting in a cool vehicle!

This first installment in the series takes a look at some things to consider during assembly, sealing a few gaps, scale considerations, base paint, and adding decals to the model.

It’s a really cool kit, and these first steps set the stage for the real fun to come in part 2 – the weathering!
