If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.

Leagues of Votann Sagitaur: Painting and Weathering

Leagues of Votann Sagitaur – what int he world is that? If you know Warhammer 40K, you know it’s a cool fighting vehicle for the various Votann factions to use.

And if you’re not familiar with Games Workshop’s tabletop gaming system, just think “cool scifi 1970s looking Moon buggy”. The point is – regardless how you look at it, this is a fun model that looks great.

Leagues of Votann Sagitaur – All The Paints and Weathering

In the previous video about this model, I’d covered painting the great looking interior. This video examines the process of painting and weathering the exterior using acrylic paints and weathering products.

I used a variety of paints to finish the model, opting for color choice rather than being brand specific. With as many great choices as we have for water-based acrylics, there’s no need to confine myself to one range – I just look for the color I want!

Weathering was kept fairly simple, and made use of some great Citadel products. Certainly others could have been used, but I like the fast drying time acrylic products offer.
