Hasegawa 1/35 Crusher Joe Galleon Part 2: Painting The Figures (Poorly)

·

I’ll admit right away I’m not much of a figure a figure painter. But I suppose if you’re familiar with my work, you’ll already know that.

And if you’re not, consider this a guided tour of an old man with unsteady hands and poor eyesight’s method for acheiving a buffoon’s paint job.

Duncan Rhodes I am not. Heck, ,I think Dusty Rhodes might have been able to do better, at least in his heyday. but that is just a guess.

In part, I blame Hasegawa, because that helps me justify the outcome of this hack paint job. The sculpts really aren’t that good. Not awful… but they do tend to fight the modeler a bit.

But ultimately the challenges exceeded my talent, or lack thereof. So they turned out OK. That kind of OK that you get if you view to from 6=8 feet away in poor light without your glasses. And that’s about the best I can hope for.

Still, in a few places in the video, I say some stuff that may be taken for almost knowing how to convey what other people do. And that’s a win in my book.

Or at least that’s what I… figure.

See what I did there? 😉
